I have to admit that I love the DiCaprio/Scorsese combo. Shutter Island is a great film, with a predictable "twist". However it was the circumstances of the "twist" that blew me away. Scorsese's genius is that he isn't trying to hide the truth from you. All the clues are there. Regardless of how predictable I found the film, it didn't at all take away from the enjoyment. DiCaprio gives a wonderful performance as US Marshall Teddy Daniels. While Daniels is suppose to be there investigating an escape, he has his own agenda on Shutter Island.Get more detail about Shutter Island [Blu-ray].
