Alice in Wonderland (Three-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo w/Digital Copy + Film Cell Photo Frame) (Amazon.com Exclusive) Best Quality

I can't speak for the DVD, but I saw this movie in the theater and was disappointed. I know Disney already did a good animated version of Alice In Wonderland, so perhaps this was supposed to be an update. And it does look good . . . It's done by Tim Burton, so what else? The animation is state of the art, if more than a little creepy in places, but the real disappointment is the story. For one; it isn't Alice In Wonderland. And it's not Through the Looking Glass, either. What we have here is really "Alice Grows Up and Goes Back To Wonderland." In this story, instead of nonsense, we have a rather clichéd, "classic battle of good against evil," updated. So if you like the "chicks rule" mindset, you might approve, but calling it Alice In Wonderland is rather a deception. Of course, if you're a Tim Burton fan, as many of us are, this is a real feast for the eyes, and it may even wear well with time.Get more detail about Alice in Wonderland (Three-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo w/Digital Copy + Film Cell Photo Frame) (Amazon.com Exclusive).
